WASHINGTON, D.C. — The United States Department of State has announced a reward of up to $10 million for information on senior Iranian figures it describes as “terrorist leaders,” including Mojtaba Khamenei.
The reward was issued through the State Department’s Rewards for Justice Program, which offers financial incentives for intelligence leading to the disruption of terrorism or the capture of individuals linked to such activities.
According to U.S. officials, the reward applies to information about Khamenei and other senior Iranian officials believed to command or direct elements of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Washington accuses the IRGC of planning and carrying out terrorist operations around the world.
The announcement was made publicly through a banner posted by the Rewards for Justice programme asking: “Got information on these Iranian terrorist leaders?” and urging people to submit tips through encrypted channels such as Signal or a Tor-based reporting system.
Individuals who provide credible information may qualify not only for the financial reward but also for relocation assistance, according to the State Department.
Reports indicate the bounty targets several senior Iranian figures connected to the IRGC’s leadership and security structure, including national security and intelligence officials.
The move signals escalating pressure by Washington against Iran’s political and military leadership amid heightened regional tensions in the Middle East.
