NAIROBI, Kenya — National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula has mourned the death of former Likuyani Member of Parliament Dr Enoch Kibunguchy, describing him as a humble and dedicated public servant whose contribution to leadership and healthcare will be remembered with deep respect.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Wetang’ula said Dr Kibunguchy passed away while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Eldoret, terming his death a major loss to the people of Likuyani Constituency and the wider Western Kenya region.

“I have received with profound sorrow the news of the passing of former Likuyani Constituency Member of Parliament, Hon. Dr. Enoch Kibunguchy, who died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Eldoret,” Wetang’ula said.

The Speaker praised the late Kibunguchy’s dual career as a medical professional and legislator, noting that he distinguished himself through humility, compassion and unwavering commitment to public service.
