DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Emirates has announced it will begin operating a limited number of flights starting the evening of March 2, as it gradually restores operations amid ongoing disruptions.
In an update posted by Emirates Support, the airline said customers with earlier bookings will be prioritized. Passengers rebooked onto the limited flights will be contacted directly.
“Please do not go to the airport unless you have been notified,” the airline stated.
All other flights remain suspended until further notice, with the situation described as dynamic and subject to continuous assessment.
Rebooking and Refund Options
Emirates confirmed that affected customers may:
- Rebook on another flight to their intended destination for travel on or before March 20.
- Request a refund if their booking was made directly with Emirates.
- Contact their travel agent if the booking was made through a third party.
“You can request for a refund of your ticket by completing the refund form if you booked with us directly: http://emirat.es/refund. If you booked your flights with a travel agent, please contact them.” Emirates said in a statement.
“Customers impacted by flight cancellations must contact their travel agency for rebooking. If booked directly with Emirates, please contact us: http://emirat.es/support.” The statement further read.
Passengers who booked directly are advised to use the airline’s support portal to manage changes or initiate refunds.
Flight Status and Updates
The airline urged customers to check their flight status before travelling to the airport and monitor official channels for updates. Passengers are also advised to verify their contact details via the “Manage Your Booking” portal to ensure they receive notifications about cancellations or schedule changes.

All city check-in points across Dubai remain temporarily closed until further notice.
Emirates emphasized that the safety and security of passengers and crew remain its highest priority. Further updates on flight schedules will be published on the airline’s official website and social media platforms as operational conditions evolve.
