DUBAI, UAE — Emirates has resumed flight operations after earlier suspending services to and from Dubai, the airline announced in an update on Saturday.
The airline said a previous statement issued at 11:08 a.m. Dubai time about the operational status was no longer valid and had been removed to avoid confusion.
“Emirates has resumed operations. Passengers who have confirmed bookings for this afternoon’s flights may proceed to the airport,” the airline said in a statement.
The carrier added that the update also applies to travellers transiting through Dubai, provided their connecting flights are operating.
Passengers have been advised to check the latest flight schedules before travelling and confirm that their flights are running as planned.
The airline said it will continue monitoring the situation and adjust its operational schedule accordingly.
“We would like to thank our customers for their understanding and patience. The safety of our passengers and crew is our highest priority and will not be compromised,” the airline added.
Emirates urged customers to regularly review updated schedules and travel information as conditions evolve.
