KMTC Placement Results Released for September 2025 Intake — Students Urged to Confirm Status

Date:

NAIROBI, Kenya – Students who applied to join the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) for the September 2025 intake can now confirm their placement status, following the release of results by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).

In a statement issued Friday, KUCCPS advised all applicants to log into the KUCCPS student portal to check which KMTC programme and campus they have been admitted to.

“Placement results for the KMTC September 2025 intake are out. Applicants should log in to the KUCCPS student portal to check,” the agency announced.

To access the results, students must visit students.kuccps.net, and log in using their KCSE index number, the year of their exam, and a password — which should either be their KCPE index number or birth certificate number.

Transfer Window Now Open

In addition to the release of placements, KUCCPS has also opened the inter-institutional transfer window for students who wish to switch either their campus or programme.

The deadline for submitting transfer requests is August 24, 2025.

KUCCPS emphasized that those placed should follow the admission instructions available on the portal to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Application Window Closed on July 7

Applications for the September intake were accepted from June 23 to July 7, during which students were allowed to apply for pre-service diploma and certificate programmes offered at KMTC campuses across Kenya.

A total of 26 programmes were available for placement, covering various health-related fields at both diploma and certificate levels.

Financing Options Available

To support students financially, the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) in collaboration with KMTC, had earlier launched a financing initiative aimed at helping new and continuing KMTC students meet tuition and related expenses.

“All students applying must follow the outlined steps carefully to ensure a successful application,” KMTC said in an earlier statement.

For applicants pursuing higher diplomas, upgrading programmes, or short courses, applications were to be made directly via the KMTC portal at admissions.kmtc.ac.ke.

With the results now available, KUCCPS and KMTC have urged successful applicants to prepare for their admission and take advantage of available support services for a smooth transition into the health training institution.
