Two of Africa’s most celebrated gospel artists, Nathaniel Bassey and Sinach, have been confirmed as the headline worship leaders for Rhema Feast 2025. The five-day Christian gathering will be held from September 1–5, 2025 at Uhuru Park, Nairobi, under the theme “I Will Build My Church” (Matthew 16:18).

Sinach (real name Osinachi Kalu Okoro Egbu) is one of Nigeria’s most influential gospel musicians. She is best known for the song “Way Maker”, which became a global worship anthem, sung in churches across continents and translated into several languages. The track gained additional recognition during the COVID-19 pandemic, when worshippers around the world turned to it for encouragement and hope.

Over her career, Sinach has released multiple albums, earned a Dove Award, and performed in over 50 countries. Her ministry has a significant following in Kenya, where her songs are widely used in church services and Christian events. At Rhema Feast 2025, she is expected to lead worship sessions that will feature her most recognized songs, creating moments of collective praise for thousands of attendees.

Nathaniel Bassey is a Nigerian pastor, worship leader, and instrumentalist who is equally prominent on the international gospel stage. He is known for songs such as “Imela,” “Onise Iyanu,” and “Olowogbogboro.” His style is unique, blending passionate vocals with his signature trumpet, which has become a defining feature of his ministry.

Bassey is also widely known as the founder of the #HallelujahChallenge, an online midnight praise and prayer session that began in 2017. The initiative went viral, attracting millions of participants globally and often trending across social media platforms. His involvement in Rhema Feast 2025 marks his first time ministering at the Nairobi event, and his presence is expected to attract large numbers of worshippers.

Rhema Feast is an annual Christian gathering organized by Rhema Kenya, which is part of the larger Rhema global network. The 2025 edition will be hosted at Nairobi’s Uhuru Park, one of the city’s largest open-air venues. The festival will run for five days and will feature a program of teaching, preaching, and extended worship.

Leading up to the event, organizers called for a 60-day period of prayer and consecration, during which believers were encouraged to prepare spiritually. This practice reflects the emphasis on creating an atmosphere of revival and unity among participants.

The festival has grown in scale each year, with tens of thousands attending in person and many more following online. It serves as a platform for both international and local Christian leaders and musicians to engage with audiences in Kenya and beyond.

Rhema Feast 2025 promises to be one of the most significant faith-based events in East Africa this year. With Nathaniel Bassey bringing his trumpet-led worship and Sinach delivering her globally recognized songs, the gathering is positioned as a milestone in Kenya’s gospel calendar.
