NAIROBI, Kenya – The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) announced on Tuesday that its services are temporarily unavailable due to a system downtime.
In a statement, the agency reassured the public that efforts are underway to address the issue:
“Dear esteemed clients, we are currently experiencing a system downtime, and our services are temporarily unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and will notify you once the system is back on,” NTSA stated.
The NTSA plays a pivotal role in regulating and managing road safety, traffic laws, and transport policies in Kenya.
Established under the Traffic Act and the NTSA Act of 2012, the agency is tasked with promoting safe, efficient, and well-regulated road transport systems.

The NTSA also implements programs to improve driver behavior and safeguard pedestrians and other road users.
While the agency has not provided a timeline for the resolution of the current system downtime, it has assured the public that its technical team is working to restore full functionality promptly.
