NAIROBI,Kenya— TECNO is set to launch its latest SPARK 40 Series globally, headlined by the debut of the new MediaTek Helio G200 processor, positioning the brand at the forefront of entry-level smartphone performance.
The flagship model, SPARK 40 Pro+, will be the first smartphone to integrate the Helio G200 chipset, which boasts a 10% performance improvement over its predecessor, according to benchmark scores nearing 470,000 on AnTuTu (a popular tool for evaluating the performance of smartphones and tablets.
The upgrade promises smoother multitasking, faster app responsiveness, and improved user experiences across gaming, streaming, and everyday use.
The smartphone maker aims to redefine expectations in its segment, pairing the chipset with proprietary visual rendering technology to achieve 1.5K resolution an unusual feature at this price point.
The SPARK 40 Pro+ will deliver sharper and more vibrant displays, elevating visual quality for users seeking high-end experiences at accessible prices.
Connectivity also gets a significant boost through the Helio G200’s DCSAR (Dynamic Communication Smart Adaptive Response), a modem-level enhancement designed to maintain stable and fast connections even in low-signal environments.

This improvement is expected to benefit users with more reliable voice calls, uninterrupted gaming, and consistent video streaming.
The SPARK 40 Series will roll out globally beginning this July.
Pre-orders for the SPARK 40 Pro+ opened on July 10, as TECNO continues to expand its smartphone offerings with a blend of performance, design, and affordability.
