Earth Tremors Rattle Mai Mahiu in Nakuru County

MAI MAHIU, Kenya- Mai Mahiu area within Nakuru County experienced several earth tremors early Tuesday morning,Y News has established.

Residents reported the first tremor at around 5:00 AM, followed by two additional tremors between that time and 6:30 AM.

Despite the unsettling nature of these geological events, no destruction of property or injuries have been reported.

Local authorities and emergency services were quick to respond, ensuring that the people living in the area were safe and providing reassurance to residents.

Geological experts are currently assessing the situation to determine the cause and potential implications of the tremors.

Preliminary reports suggest that the tremors are part of the natural seismic activity in the region, which lies within the East African Rift System, a known hotspot for such occurrences.
