The initiative aims to enhance efficiency and transparency across all financial processes within the judicial system.
In a statement, Judiciary Chief Registrar Winfridah Boyani Mokaya confirmed the completion of the transition to the new platform, which is now fully integrated with the e-filing and case management systems.
This integration is expected to simplify how payments are processed and managed, offering users a more seamless experience.
“Refunds, which had been temporarily suspended, have now resumed. We are working diligently to ensure that all outstanding refunds, forfeitures, and utilisation are completed as swiftly as possible,” Mokaya assured.
The new system will also make payment receipts easily accessible through SMS acknowledgements, alongside the existing e-filing and Case Tracking System (CTS) platforms.
When a refund is being processed, depositors will receive a link via SMS prompting them to update their bank details for faster and more secure transactions.
Acknowledging the temporary disruptions caused by the system transition, the Judiciary apologised to stakeholders for any inconvenience and urged them to direct any inquiries to the ICT Directorate or the Automation Deputy Registrar via provided email contacts in their websites.
