Ambassador Guo noted that China was committed to helping Kenya achieve its development agenda, mainly by providing financial support for various critical infrastructure projects.
Some of these projects include the expansion of the Nairobi-Nakuru-Malaba road network under the Belt and Road Initiative and the extension of the Standard Gauge Railway from Naivasha to the Malaba border.
Ambassador Guo took over from Ambassador Zhou Pingjian, whose four-year tenure ended last year.
