NAIROBI, Kenya- Samsung has announced its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, promising significant upgrades and exciting pre-order deals for the Kenyan market.
This year, Samsung has taken innovation up a notch by integrating its Galaxy AI with Google AI and Google Gemini into the new foldable phones.
These devices are now thinner, brighter, and come equipped with higher-resolution folding displays, setting new standards in the foldable smartphone market.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 are available for pre-order in Kenya at authorized Samsung stores and through e-commerce partners. The Galaxy Z Fold6 starts at Ksh 264,000, while the Galaxy Z Flip6 begins at Ksh 148,000.

The Galaxy Z Flip6 comes with major upgrades, including better cameras, a thinner and lighter design, and a bigger battery life.
The integration of Google AI features like live translations and the Google Gemini AI app enhances the user experience, offering capabilities such as composing texts and handling various tasks with ease.
The device, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy processor, promises the fastest performance yet in a Samsung foldable phone.
It also boasts an IP48 rating for water resistance and a commitment from Samsung to support the phone with new OS and security updates for seven years.
On the camera front, the Galaxy Z Flip6 features a 50MP main wide camera complemented by a 12MP ultra-wide camera. With Photo Assist and Galaxy AI, users have enhanced tools for easier editing of photos and videos.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 is designed for those who need a multitasking powerhouse. When unfolded, it reveals a 7.6-inch touchscreen display compatible with the included S Pen stylus.
The Fold6 comes in three storage variants: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, and is lighter than its predecessor, weighing just 239 grams.
The camera setup includes a 50MP main rear camera, a 10MP 3x telephoto lens, and a newly updated 12MP ultra-wide camera, promising better low-light performance.
In Kenya, pre-ordering the Galaxy Z Fold6 or Galaxy Z Flip6 comes with special perks. Customers who pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold6 will receive a slim S-pen case, while those who pre-order the Galaxy Z Flip6 will get a flip suite case set.
These deals are available at authorized Samsung stores and e-commerce partners until July 31st.
