NAIROBI, Kenya – The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has set new fuel prices for the period from August 15, 2024, to September 14, 2024.

According to the latest announcement, Super Petrol will be priced at Sh188.84 per liter, Diesel at Sh171.60, and Kerosene at Sh161.75 starting at midnight.

This adjustment comes in accordance with Section 101(y) of the Petroleum Act 2019 and Legal Notice No.192 of 2022, which mandates the EPRA to periodically review and set the maximum retail prices for petroleum products.

The updated prices will apply to all retail stations across Nairobi.

EPRA’s statement highlighted that these changes are reflective of the current market conditions and aim to balance the interests of consumers and suppliers in the petroleum sector.
