NAIROBI, Kenya- In light of recent protests over the punitive Finance Bill 2024, the Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) has moved swiftly to reassure international travelers that the country remains a safe and vibrant destination.
KTB Chairman Francis Gichaba emphasized that Kenya’s tourism hotspots are unaffected and fully operational, ensuring a seamless and secure experience for visitors.

“All airports and airstrips across Kenya remain fully operational, with scheduled flights arriving and departing as normal,” Gichaba state.
Kenya’s transportation infrastructure remains steadfast, including the critical Standard Gauge Railway, which provides reliable travel between Nairobi and Mombasa.
“We assure our visitors of convenient access to any of our tourism circuits countrywide,” Gichaba added.
KTB is proactively working with local authorities to monitor and address any concerns, ensuring that travelers can enjoy their visits without disruptions.
