In a notice dated Tuesday, March 3, the agency announced over 700 vacancies, offering openings for both cadet officers and private recruits across a wide range of professional and technical roles.

Cadet Officer Positions (250 Slots)

The 250 advertised cadet officer vacancies target degree holders in various professional disciplines.

  • Accountants and auditors
  • Supply chain officers
  • ICT officers
  • Clinical officers and laboratory technologists
  • Project management officers
  • Economists
  • Marketing and corporate communication officers
  • Agricultural and veterinary officers

Applicants must:

  • Be Kenyan citizens aged 18–28 years
  • Hold a valid National ID and KRA PIN
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Library and Information Science, Sports Science, Physical Education, or Community Development
  • Be medically fit
  • Be ready to undergo nine months of NYS paramilitary training
