Security Scare at State House: 12 Arrested in Attempted Breach

NAIROBI, Kenya – A group of 12 individuals was intercepted and arrested on Monday, March 10, after attempting to breach the highly secured State House Nairobi.

The swift response by the elite Recce Squad prevented the intruders from gaining access, averting a major security incident.

Eyewitnesses described a tense moment as security forces engaged the group before successfully detaining them.

Details about the individuals, their identities, and their motives remain undisclosed as authorities continue investigations.

Authorities: No Immediate Threat to State House

In a statement, security agencies reassured the public that the situation was swiftly contained, emphasizing that there was no immediate danger to State House or its occupants.

“All necessary security measures remain in place to safeguard the premises,” officials stated.

State House remains one of the most protected government facilities in Kenya, with multiple layers of security, including armed guards, surveillance systems, and restricted access zones.

Attempts to breach it are extremely rare and taken with the utmost seriousness.
