“I have had the privilege of engaging various leaders and stakeholders from across the region regarding the way forward as we head into the new year,” Gachagua stated, emphasizing the importance of understanding the region’s current political standing and available opportunities.
The meeting brought together a notable lineup of former MPs, including Peter Mwathi, Jude Njomo, Wainanina Jungle, Ngunjiri Wambugu, Gichuhi Mwangi, and Kabinga Wathayu.
They were joined by former MCAs such as Kuria Karema, Joseph Karichu, Mercy Nungari, Muthoni Chikiru, Juliah Wanjiku, and Livingstone Waiganjo.
Adding to the mix were Kiambu leader Damaris Waiganjo and youth representatives Karanja Muchai, Theuri Wanjiru, and Peter Kinyanjui, reflecting a broad-based approach to political dialogue.
Gachagua described the discussions as “useful and educative,” providing critical insights into the region’s political position and future options.
