NAIROBI, Kenya – To bolster its brand and market presence, local automotive solutions provider CFAO Motors Kenya has rebranded to CFAO Mobility Kenya.
This transformation marks a significant step in the company’s efforts to position itself as a leading multi-brand mobility solutions provider in Kenya.
The rebranding is part of CFAO Mobility Kenya’s broader strategy to streamline its operations and align with the global branding standards of its parent company, Corporation for Africa & Overseas (CFAO Group).
By adopting the new identity, the firm aims to enhance its competitiveness and deliver its customers a comprehensive range of mobility solutions.
“We are committed to expanding our product portfolio and introducing new-age sustainable mobility solutions, including Hybrid Electric Vehicles and, in the near future, Electric Vehicles,” said Arvinder Reel, Managing Director of CFAO Mobility Kenya.
“This new identity allows us to optimize our operations and ensure we deliver exceptional value to our customers.”
CFAO Mobility Kenya plans to continue investing capital and human resources to expand its offerings.
The firm will focus on developing its passenger vehicle portfolio, including the introduction of Electric Vehicles, as well as expanding its range of light and medium commercial trucks.
Additionally, the company will grow its market presence with complementary business lines such as pre-owned vehicle sales, independent quick-fix auto service outlets, and vehicle spare sales.
“Our goal is to be an end-to-end mobility solution provider, empowering Kenyans by delivering quality automotive solutions that are fit for purpose and provide excellent value,” Reel added.
CFAO Mobility Kenya, a subsidiary of CFAO Group, is the authorized distributor and service provider for several leading automotive brands, including Toyota, Yamaha, Volkswagen, Suzuki, Mercedes Benz, Hino, Hyundai, and Sinotruk.
The company operates through a network of 42 branches, dealers, and authorized service centers across Kenya, offering exceptional after-sales services.
In 2023, CFAO Mobility Kenya maintained a strong growth trajectory in the local automotive market.
According to the Kenya Motor Industry (KMI), the firm held a 59% share in the general segment, excluding medium and large buses and trucks, with its flagship Toyota brand contributing significantly to this dominance.
Overall, the company achieved a 32% market share, up from 28% in 2022, with total sales of 3,639 vehicles across its diverse brand portfolio.
Reel emphasized that the rebranding to CFAO Mobility Kenya represents a renewed commitment by the staff and operating partners to deliver an exceptional client experience.
“This change is not just about a new name; it’s about reaffirming our dedication to our customers and ensuring that we continue to provide innovative and sustainable mobility solutions.”
