Safaricom’s acting company secretary, Lisa Wambani, confirmed that Ory Okolloh’s tenure ended on July 24, 2024, while Francesco Bianco is set to leave on August 1, 2024.

These decisions were made during a comprehensive board meeting held on July 24, 2024.

In a heartfelt statement, Safaricom expressed its gratitude for the substantial contributions made by both Okolloh and Bianco during their time on the board.

“The board takes this opportunity to thank Mr. Bianco and Ms. Okolloh for their invaluable and robust contributions in the committees and at board meetings during their tenure and wishes the two all the best in their future endeavors,” the telco stated.
