TikTok Partners With Eventbrite to Revolutionize Event Promotion

Date:

NAIROBI, Kenya- TikTok has teamed up with Eventbrite, offering event creators a game-changing way to promote their events and sell tickets.

This exciting partnership allows Eventbrite creators and TikTok users to integrate direct Eventbrite links into their TikTok videos, making it easier than ever for audiences to discover event details and purchase tickets without leaving the app.

With this new feature, any TikTok user can effortlessly become an event creator. By hosting their events on Eventbrite, users can seamlessly promote and sell tickets directly to the TikTok community.

This opens up fantastic opportunities for sharing events with TikTok’s vibrant fan communities such as #BookTok, #NewMusic, or #FoodTok

This integration is designed to help local and independent event creators grow their presence and bring people together through unique live experiences.

The ability to add Eventbrite links to TikTok videos means even smaller events can gain significant exposure.

This fosters a thriving and inclusive community while contributing to a diverse event landscape.

The feature is now available in several countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, where both TikTok and Eventbrite services are active.

Eligible events must be physical, publicly listed on Eventbrite, have paid tickets, and occur within the next 90 days, or 180 days for music events.

This regional availability highlights TikTok and Eventbrite’s commitment to supporting event creators in these markets.

Ted Dworkin, Chief Product Officer at Eventbrite, commented, “We’re giving creators a simple way to jump into trending conversations and bring online communities together in real life through events they’re passionate about. With this partnership, millions of people can now easily discover and attend the best events in their cities, right from where the conversation is happening on TikTok.”

Isaac Bess, Global Head of Distribution Partnerships at TikTok, emphasized the synergy between the two platforms: “TikTok is a global community of over a billion people, who share their real-world joy, passions, and experiences with other like-minded users.”

“Eventbrite has the same ultimate goal: to connect communities, whether it be at festivals, concerts, or neighborhood gatherings. Our partnership with Eventbrite will help event creators connect with the TikTok community and introduce a wealth of fantastic real-world events to our users,” he added.

This collaboration is set to transform how events are promoted and experienced, bridging the gap between online communities and real-world gatherings.
