NAIROBI, Kenya – Media personality Betty Kyallo has welcomed her second daughter and first child with her partner Charlie Jones, marking a joyful new chapter for the couple.
Betty shared the news on Thursday, April 16, confirming that the former news anchor gave birth to a baby girl on April 15, 2026. The newborn has been named Nova Aurora Jones.
“Welcome To The World Our Precious Little Princess.Nova Aurora Jones 🎀.15/04/26. Thank You Heavenly Father, God Almighty. We Love You God, Thank You,” Betty Kyallo wrote.
The arrival has been highly anticipated, with the couple previously expressing their desire to grow their family.
They first revealed they were expecting on December 19, 2025, sharing maternity photos captioned, “Meet THE JONES” and “We’ve been cooking something oh so sweet”.
In the months leading up to the birth, the couple celebrated the journey with a lavish “Baby in Bloom” themed baby shower in March 2026, attended by close friends and family.
Charlie Jones, whom Betty marked a two-year anniversary with in November 2025, has been actively involved throughout the pregnancy.
In preparation for the baby’s arrival, he reportedly gifted her a luxury bed worth Sh400,000 for her birthday and oversaw the creation of a high-end nursery.
This is Betty’s second daughter. She is also mother to Ivanna, her firstborn from her previous marriage to Dennis Okari.
