NAIROBI, Kenya – Content creator and upcoming boxer Mbavu Destroyer has sought prayers from controversial preacher Victor Kanyari ahead of his highly anticipated “Vurugu” boxing showdown scheduled for Saturday, April 4.
In a video shared by Kanyari, Mbavu Destroyer visited his church accompanied by his parents asking for spiritual support as he prepares to face rival Majembe.
In the clip, Mbavu Destroyer appeared optimistic as he requested Kanyari’s prayers for victory. Kanyari teased Mbavu before praying and declaring victory upon him and similar words were uttered by his parents.
“He is my third born child and my first born son. Mungu amulinde na tunamuomwombea ushindi,” his father stated.
The fight, promoted by comedian and media personality Oga Obinna, will take place at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani Indoor Arena.
