DAR ES SALAAM, Tanzania – Tanzanian singer Juma Jux and Nigerian actress and media personality Priscilla Ojo have finally unveiled their son’s face as he celebrates his first birthday.
The couple introduced Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala to the public through photos shared on social media on Monday, August 24, 2026, marking a major milestone after keeping his face private since his birth.
For a full year, Juma and Priscilla shared glimpses of their son’s life while carefully concealing his face. They often photographed him from behind, covered his face or used other creative ways to protect his privacy.
The long-awaited reveal came on Rakeem’s first birthday, giving fans their first clear look at the child who had already attracted a huge following online.
Alongside the face reveal, the couple shared an emotional message reflecting on their first year as parents.
“We blinked, and a whole year passed,” they began.
The couple described watching Rakeem grow as one of the biggest blessings of their lives and praised his personality.
“To our dearest son, watching you grow has been the biggest blessing,” they wrote.
Juma and Priscilla described their son as their “cheeky, happy, cleverest little pumpkin”, saying he lights up every room he enters.
They also reflected on the 365 days they had spent loving, cuddling and watching their son develop his personality.
“365 days of loving you, cuddling you, and watching your beautiful personality shine,” they wrote.
The couple said Rakeem had brought joy into their lives and described him as curious, joyful, smart and full of life.
The birthday celebration also gave Juma and Priscilla an opportunity to share their hopes for their son’s future.

They prayed that Rakeem would grow up healthy, happy and purposeful, while asking God to guide his steps and direct his path.
“We pray God guides your steps and orders your path,” they said.
The couple also prayed that their son would always understand how deeply he is loved.
“We pray you know how deeply you are loved, every single day,” they added.
They further wished that his laughter would never stop and that he would retain his innocence and kindness as he grows older.
“We pray your laughter never stops and your beautiful heart stays pure,” the couple wrote.
They concluded the emotional birthday tribute by describing Rakeem as the child they had always hoped and prayed for.
“You are our greatest answered prayer,” they said.
Despite his parents’ decision to keep his face hidden, Rakeem had already become a social media personality before his first birthday.
His dedicated Instagram account attracted more than 100,000 followers, even though fans had never seen his face.
Juma and Priscilla welcomed their son in Canada in August 2025, beginning a new chapter in their relationship.
The couple had already attracted considerable attention across East and West Africa before becoming parents, with their relationship bringing together Tanzanian and Nigerian entertainment audiences.
