NAIROBI, Kenya – Kenyan digital content creator and media personality Nana Owiti has received a special Arsenal gift package from Emirates, with the airline celebrating the club’s 2025/26 Premier League triumph and her long-standing support for the Gunners.
Owiti shared an unboxing video on Monday, September 14, 2026, giving her followers a glimpse of the package and the items that came with it.
The gesture comes as Arsenal begin their campaign as Premier League champions after ending their long wait for the English top-flight title.
At the centre of the package was a letter addressed to Owiti and titled “Celebrating a Season to Remember.”
The note opened with a direct acknowledgement of her support for the club.
“A special gift for a true Arsenal fan.”
Emirates then linked the gift to Arsenal’s successful 2025/26 campaign.
“As Arsenal’s long-standing Official Airline Partner, Emirates is proud to celebrate the club’s 2025/2026 Premier League win and the passion of the fans who make every moment of the journey so special.”
The airline also told Owiti that it hoped she would enjoy the memorabilia accompanying the package.
“We hope you enjoy this special piece of Arsenal history, along with a few Emirates keepsakes, gifted with our compliments.”
Among the standout items was an Emirates Airbus A380-800 model aircraft, reflecting the airline’s long-standing association with Arsenal.
Owiti also received two Arsenal home shirts. One jersey carried the name Alessia Russo and the number 23. Russo plays for Arsenal Women and England. The second shirt featured Declan Rice’s name and his number 41.
The choice of shirts gave the package a connection to both Arsenal’s women’s and men’s teams.
The gifts also arrived at an important moment for the club. Emirates has maintained a long-running partnership with Arsenal, with 2026 marking two decades of the relationship between the airline and the North London club. The partnership includes Emirates’ role as Arsenal’s Official Airline Partner and the naming rights to the club’s stadium.
Owiti’s passion for Arsenal stretches back roughly 20 years and has become a prominent part of her social media presence. In an interview with AFP published earlier in 2026, Owiti explained why she became attached to the club.
She credited former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry with initially drawing her towards the team before other players strengthened her connection with the club.
“(Thierry) Henry actually made me fall in love with Arsenal first off because he was a cutie,” Owiti said.
She also pointed to the number of Black players who featured for Arsenal during that period as another reason she identified with the club.
“(They) looked like me… that was why I chose Arsenal.”
Owiti summed up the emotional connection she has developed with the club over the years by saying:
“Arsenal is responsible for most of my happiness and sadness.”
Her Arsenal collection, including numerous club jerseys, has previously featured prominently in coverage of her fandom. Owiti has also attracted attention for her promise to get a Champions League trophy tattoo if Arsenal eventually win the competition.
The Kenyan content creator made the vow while discussing her hopes of seeing the Gunners finally secure European football’s biggest club trophy.
“Oh! I can’t wait! I don’t even know how to behave when my captain lifts those big ol’ ears!!”
She added:
“It’s the hope, and I have hope in them. I can’t wait to tattoo this on my hand.”
Owiti then called on Arsenal players to help make the proposed tattoo a reality.
“Tag Arsenal players, tell them they stand between me and this tattoo.”
The gift to Owiti also comes against the backdrop of Emirates’ wider celebrations of Arsenal’s Premier League triumph.
Following the club’s title win, Emirates unveiled a special Arsenal-themed design on one of its Airbus A380 aircraft. The aircraft featured images of Arsenal players including Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Martin Ødegaard and Viktor Gyökeres, alongside the Arsenal crest and the word “Champions.”
