CS Mutua Announces 1000 Job Opportunities for Kenyan Drivers in Saudi Arabia

Date:

NAIROBI, Kenya – Kenyan drivers seeking employment abroad have a new opportunity after Labour Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua announced the availability of 1,000 job openings in Saudi Arabia.

The positions, offered by a reputable Saudi company, are open for qualified drivers of small vehicles, buses, and trucks.

Mutua revealed on his social media platforms that the recruitment drive is urgent, with selected candidates earning a monthly salary of 1,400 Saudi Riyals (approximately Sh50,000).

In addition to the salary, successful applicants will benefit from free accommodation, food, transport, and medical care, making the opportunity attractive for many Kenyans looking for employment overseas.

However, candidates will need to cover a Sh15,000 medical clearance fee.

Mutua urged interested drivers to prepare early, saying, “Prepare in advance and, if possible, have the Sh15,000 medical fee ready.

Successful candidates will travel immediately after completing their medical clearance. This is your chance to secure a job and better your future.”

To ensure accessibility, the recruitment process will take place across three counties: Nairobi, Nyeri, and Mombasa.

1. Nairobi applicants will be interviewed at Kabete National Polytechnic on December 18 and 19, 2024.

2. Nyeri candidates can attend interviews at Nyeri National Polytechnic on December 20 and 21, 2024.

3. Mombasa drivers will have their chance at the Kenya Coast National Polytechnic on December 23 and 24, 2024.

All interviews will run from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on the specified dates.

Mutua reassured candidates without passports, stating that “expedited passport processing will be facilitated” for those selected.

Qualified applicants must have a valid driving license and relevant certificates to apply.
