Kenya Airports Authority Names Nicholas Bodo as Acting Managing Director

NAIROBI, Kenya – The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has announced the appointment of Nicholas Bodo as its acting Managing Director, effective immediately.

The announcement, made by KAA Board Chair Caleb Kositany on December 31, follows the re-advertisement of the Managing Director/CEO position on December 24.

“To ensure a smooth transition during this interim period, the Board has appointed Mr. Nicholas Bodo as the Acting Managing Director,” Kositany stated in a notice to employees.

He confirmed that Bodo would hold the position until a permanent Managing Director is selected.

Bodo, who previously served as the Director of Air Services at the Ministry of Transport, brings extensive experience in aviation to the role.

Kositany expressed confidence in Bodo’s capabilities, urging KAA staff to offer him their full support during this transitional phase.
