Content creator Faith Wanjiku Oltmanns is mourning the heartbreaking loss of her infant son, Mikhael Patrick Oltmanns, who died after spending months battling health complications following his premature birth.

Wanjiku announced the devastating news through an emotional social media post, revealing that her son passed away on July 2, 2026, after a courageous fight for survival.

Baby Mikhael was born prematurely on December 30, 2025, and spent much of his short life receiving specialized medical care. Throughout his journey, Wanjiku regularly updated her followers on his condition, asking for prayers and support as he continued to fight through numerous health challenges.

Sharing the painful news of his passing, Wanjiku described herself as completely heartbroken and struggling to come to terms with the loss of her child.

“With a broken heart I announce the departure of my little baby Patrick. we fought so much….from day one…you made it out of hospital…………..” she shared.

She paid tribute to Mikhael as a brave little fighter whose determination inspired everyone who followed his journey.

Although he lived for only a few months, Wanjiku said her son touched countless lives through his resilience and strength.

The announcement immediately drew an outpouring of condolences from friends, fellow content creators and supporters, many of whom had followed Baby Mikhael’s medical journey from birth.

Several offered words of comfort while praising Wanjiku for remaining steadfast throughout months of hospital visits, uncertainty and hope.

As the family prepares to lay Baby Mikhael to rest, friends and supporters have organized a fundraiser to help meet funeral and burial expenses.

The infant’s death comes against the backdrop of a highly publicized dispute involving Wanjiku and former Kiss FM radio presenter Kerry Martin.

Before Mikhael’s passing, Wanjiku had publicly alleged that Kerry Martin abandoned both her and their premature son while the baby remained hospitalized.

She claimed she was left to shoulder the emotional and financial burden of caring for the infant during his lengthy medical treatment.

Kerry Martin has not publicly responded to all of Wanjiku’s allegations regarding the care and support of the child.

Over the past several months, Wanjiku frequently expressed optimism that her son would eventually recover.

She celebrated every milestone, no matter how small, while continuing to ask her online community for prayers.
