Kenyan YouTuber Miss Trudy has shared an emotional family milestone after travelling back home to Kenya with her newborn baby to introduce the child to her father for the very first time.
Miss Trudy, who is married to Ghanaian content creator Wode Maya, documented the journey and shared heartfelt reflections about the moment on social media, leaving many followers moved by the story behind the visit.
The content creator described the trip as more than a simple family introduction. To her, it represented the fulfillment of prayers, hope and years of emotional healing.
The couple previously opened up about the painful road they faced before becoming parents. According to Miss Trudy, she endured six miscarriages before eventually welcoming her child in early 2026, a baby she has repeatedly described as her “miracle” child.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Miss Trudy revealed that one of the most difficult moments in her life came when she informed her father about one of her pregnancy losses.
Recalling the painful memory, she wrote: “Finally taking my baby to Kenya to meet my dad!”
She then described the emotional phone call that followed one of her miscarriages. According to her, after she broke the news to him, she immediately sensed his pain.
She explained that she could hear his voice breaking before he quietly told her he would call her back. She later realized he had been crying.
She said her father later told her that he had gone before his church congregation and prayed publicly, asking God for forgiveness in case he had unknowingly committed a sin that had caused his daughter to suffer repeated pregnancy losses.
She recalled feeling heartbroken hearing her father blame himself for pain that neither of them had control over.
In her emotional message, she wrote that his prayers had now finally been answered.
“What he prayed for… has come to pass. See what the Lord has done!” she wrote.
