The award-winning singer confirmed the news through his official Instagram page, expressing excitement about joining the global celebration ahead of the FIFA World Cup kickoff.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, 2026, and will serve as a major cultural launch for the tournament, which begins the following day.
The FIFA Countdown Concert is a first-of-its-kind entertainment event designed to unite football and music fans across North America before the start of the world’s biggest sporting competition.
Unlike a traditional concert, the event will connect three major cities simultaneously through a synchronized live broadcast.
Toronto, Mexico City, and Los Angeles will each host their own live performances while remaining linked through one global production.
Fans attending in any of the three cities will experience local performances while also watching highlights from the other venues through giant screens and live broadcasts.
The innovative concept aims to celebrate the cultural diversity of the tournament’s three host nations while building excitement for the start of the FIFA World Cup.
Toronto’s edition of the event will take place at Fort York and The Bentway, two iconic locations that have become central gathering points for major events in the Canadian city.
Rayvanny joins an impressive lineup of internationally recognized performers selected for the Toronto concert.
Among the major artists scheduled to perform are Canadian rock legend Bryan Adams, actress and singer Nora Fatehi, Indian music producer Sanjoy, French-Congolese hitmaker Vegedream, Canadian singer-songwriter AHI, and Haitian music icon Wyclef Jean.
The Los Angeles concert, hosted at Crypto.com Arena, will feature a star-studded lineup including Major Lazer, Davido, Ava Max, BIA, Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, LISA, Rema, and Tyla.
