NAIROBI, Kenya- Content creator Andrew Kibe has met Head of Presidential Special Projects and Creative Economy Coordination Dennis Itumbi to discuss several issues, including efforts to have his YouTube account restored.
Kibe said the meeting took place at Itumbi’s office but did not disclose further details about their discussions or the steps proposed to address the account ban.
“Had the pleasure of visiting Dennis Itumbi at his office. We discussed many things, including how to get my YouTube account unbanned,” Kibe said.
He described Itumbi as a pleasant person and wished him continued success.
“Pleasant fellow, I must say. Keep winning, my G,” Kibe added.

Kibe’s main YouTube channel was terminated on September 11, 2023, after accumulating more than 470,000 subscribers.
YouTube initially cited a violation of its terms of service without publicly identifying the content that prompted the original restriction.
Google Africa Head of Communications Dorothy Ooko later said Kibe had been restricted from using YouTube features, including uploading videos, but used another channel to bypass those restrictions.
YouTube treated this as circumvention and terminated all channels associated with him.
Kibe disputed the explanation and maintained that he had complied with the platform’s rules.
In July 2025, YouTube removed another channel associated with Kibe, citing severe or repeated violations of its community guidelines.
The channel had hosted only two interviews before its removal, prompting Kibe to describe the action as malicious.
The former radio presenter remains controversial for his provocative commentary on women, marriage, masculinity and relationships, which has repeatedly sparked criticism and debate online.
