NAIROBI, Kenya- Nokia has teamed up with Telecom Egypt to introduce 5G technology to the country, marking a significant leap in Egypt’s telecom landscape.
This collaboration promises to bring the transformative power of 5G to major cities, including Alexandria, Aswan, Cairo, Giza, and Luxor.
The deployment is set to commence later this year, revolutionizing mobile connectivity across Egypt.
Under this new partnership, Nokia will deploy its comprehensive AirScale portfolio, featuring the latest in 5G radio access network (RAN) equipment.
These solutions leverage Nokia’s energy-efficient ReefShark System-on-Chip technology, ensuring extensive 5G capacity and coverage.
