NAIROBI, Kenya- BM Security is making headlines with a significant leadership change as Michelle Morgan takes the helm as CEO.
Michelle steps into the role previously held by Neil Morgan, who transitions to Chairman of the Board after an impressive eight-year tenure as CEO. This leadership shift is set to propel BM Security into a new chapter of innovation and growth.
Michelle Morgan isn’t new to the security services industry—or to BM Security.
With over seven years of experience under her belt, she has been a key player in the company’s executive team, most recently serving as Executive Director.
In that role, she had direct oversight of BM Systems, the company’s technology division, where she played a pivotal role in driving digital transformation initiatives.
Her efforts have positioned BM Security at the forefront of technological advancements, setting new standards in the security sector.
As outgoing CEO Neil Morgan announced her appointment, he expressed his confidence in Michelle’s leadership, stating, “We are thrilled to have Michelle take on the role of CEO. Her deep understanding of our company’s values, combined with her expertise in technology and innovation, makes her the ideal candidate to lead us forward.”
While Michelle steps into her new role, Neil Morgan isn’t stepping away from BM Security. As the new Chairman of the Board, Neil will continue to play an instrumental role in guiding the company’s strategic direction.
His focus will be on enhancing corporate governance, particularly in the areas of standards, certifications, and capacity development.
This transition allows Neil to leverage his extensive experience as CEO to provide the Board with the strategic insights needed to navigate the complexities of the security industry.

Before her tenure in the security industry, Michelle’s career took off in the media world, where she worked as a broadcast journalist with Citizen TV, Ebru TV, and K24 between 2012 and 2017.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Middlesex University in London, a background that has undoubtedly contributed to her strategic approach in her current industry.
