Bolt Launches Grocery Delivery Service in Nairobi

NAIROBI, Kenya- Bolt has officially entered Kenya’s on-demand grocery market with the launch of Bolt Market, a convenient grocery delivery service designed to revolutionize how Nairobi residents shop for essentials. 

Operating under the Bolt Food app, the service provides users access to a broad range of over 2,000 products, from fresh produce to household items.

Bolt Market operates daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., allowing users to schedule orders up to 24 hours in advance. 

Customers within a 10 km radius of its Kilimani-based store can enjoy this service, with free delivery available for orders within 3 km. 

As part of the launch, Bolt is offering discounts of up to 80pc on selected items—a move that underscores its commitment to providing value while enticing first-time users.

The app features upfront pricing and estimated delivery times, ensuring a seamless and transparent shopping experience. This innovation not only simplifies grocery shopping but also enhances convenience for busy urbanites.

Bolt Market’s entry into Kenya represents a significant step in the company’s broader strategy to diversify its portfolio.
