American singer and songwriter Ciara and her husband, Russell Wilson, are expecting another baby, with the couple announcing the pregnancy in a sweet family reveal that has sent fans and celebrity friends into a celebratory mood.
The pregnancy marks Ciara’s fifth child overall and her fourth with Wilson, adding another member to the couple’s growing blended family.
Ciara and Wilson shared the news on Instagram, where they posted photographs and a video from a backyard photo shoot. The couple captioned the announcement, “One more person to Love 🖐🏽🥺🖤,” as they celebrated the latest addition to their family.
Wilson also appeared to embrace the playful nickname “Baby Cinco” for the unborn child, referencing the baby’s position as Ciara’s fifth child.
In the announcement, Ciara proudly showed off her growing baby bump while posing outdoors beside a clothesline decorated with personalised clothing representing the family.
The singer wore baggy jeans and a white tank top as she stood beside shirts bearing the names of the couple’s children. A blank white baby onesie hung alongside the other clothes, symbolising the newest member of the family.
The simple reveal gave fans a glimpse into the couple’s excitement without revealing additional details about the pregnancy.
Ciara and Wilson have not announced the baby’s sex or due date.
The couple’s announcement quickly attracted congratulatory messages from their friends and followers, including celebrities such as La La Anthony and Vanessa Bryant, who joined thousands of fans in celebrating the news.
The pregnancy comes after Wilson repeatedly joked about expanding the family.
The NFL star has previously spoken about his desire to have more children with Ciara. Following the birth of their daughter Amora in December 2023, Ciara playfully responded to her husband’s enthusiasm about having another baby.
