Tanzanian singer Zuhura Othman, popularly known as Zuchu, has celebrated a major personal milestone by acquiring a luxurious blue Bentley Continental GT V8 Azure, which she has described as her dream car.
The WCB Wasafi signee unveiled the luxury car on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, sharing photos and videos of the purchase with her Instagram followers.
Zuchu appeared excited as she introduced the vehicle, which features personalised number plates bearing her stage name.
She captioned the announcement, “My first baby is here. New toy. Birthday month.”
The purchase comes as the singer celebrates her birthday month, turning the acquisition into a personal gift as she reflects on her achievements in the entertainment industry.
Beyond showcasing the expensive vehicle, Zuchu used the announcement to acknowledge the role her music career has played in improving her financial position.
“These are small blessings. I am just giving thanks to the Lord for my music. Through my music, I have been able to buy myself a Bentley. It was the car of my dreams,” she said.
Zuchu’s new acquisition is a Bentley Continental GT V8 Azure, a British luxury grand tourer known for its distinctive styling, premium craftsmanship and performance.
The vehicle is estimated to cost between Sh25 million and Sh37.5 million, although the singer has not disclosed the exact amount she paid.
The final price depends on the model year, specifications, customisation and applicable import taxes.
The Continental GT Azure combines sporting performance with the comfort associated with Bentley’s luxury range.
Its exterior features a distinctive chrome grille, sophisticated lighting, elegant bodywork and large alloy wheels.
The Azure specification also places considerable emphasis on passenger comfort.
According to Bentley, the Continental GT Azure offers heated, ventilated and massaging front seats, alongside a panoramic glass roof and carefully finished interior materials.
The latest generation uses a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 hybrid powertrain, producing a combined 680 PS and 930 Nm of torque.
Bentley says the latest model can accelerate from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 270 kilometres per hour.
However, the specifications vary between model generations, and Zuchu has not disclosed the production year of her particular vehicle.
The announcement also comes against the backdrop of her growing digital audience.
The luxury acquisition coincides with another major milestone in Zuchu’s digital career after her official YouTube channel crossed five million subscribers.
The achievement places her among the East African artistes with substantial audiences on the video-sharing platform.
Her channel has grown through official music videos, performances, collaborations and other entertainment content.
Despite describing the Bentley as her first car, Zuchu previously made headlines in April 2023 after showcasing a Range Rover she had reportedly purchased for herself.
The singer shared videos of the vehicle and took her mother, veteran singer Khadija Kopa, for a ride around Dar es Salaam.
Diamond Platnumz, who heads WCB Wasafi, also congratulated her following the acquisition.
