NAIROBI, Kenya – Kenyan comedian and content creator Flaqo Raz has addressed online rumours claiming that he has a baby mama and a child he allegedly neglects.
The comedian firmly denied the claims, stating that he is child-free and accusing social media users of creating false narratives about his personal life.
Flaqo’s response came after a wave of online speculation surrounding his family life and relationships. The allegations surfaced shortly after the comedian showcased his new production headquarters and mansion, prompting speculation about his private affairs.
Flaqo was categorical in rejecting claims that he has a child. The comedian said people had created a story portraying him as a deadbeat father despite having no child or baby mama.
“I have no baby mama; I’m child-free.”
He argued that the allegations formed part of an attempt to tarnish his image at a time when he was celebrating major personal and professional achievements.
The comedian suggested that the rumours emerged as his career continued to grow.
Flaqo recently showcased his new mansion and production headquarters, achievements that attracted considerable attention from his fans and fellow Kenyans.
He maintained that social media users sometimes create sensational stories about public figures when they cannot find genuine controversy involving them.
“When they fail to find the wrong, they create and push whatever narrative,” he said.
Flaqo also responded to allegations that he does not support his family. The comedian dismissed those claims and pointed to the support he provides to his parents as evidence that the narrative does not reflect his actual family relationships.
He said he takes care of his mother and recently rebuilt a house for his father.
The clarification comes as Flaqo continues to publicly document aspects of his journey, including the financial and professional progress that has enabled him to invest in property and production.
His comments sought to counter the perception that he has neglected his family while pursuing his career.
The comedian also addressed another set of allegations involving women who appear in his comedy productions. Flaqo said social media users have accused him of having sexual relationships with members of his cast.
He rejected the claims and insisted that his interactions with the performers remain professional.
“I pay everyone and only interact on a professional level.”
Flaqo also challenged members of his production team to come forward if his account was untrue.
Because Flaqo frequently works with different actors and creators, some of his followers have speculated about the nature of those relationships. The comedian, however, maintained that appearing together in his content does not imply a romantic relationship.
He said he has seen some of the stories and claims circulating about him but has chosen to respond selectively.
“These ridiculous scripts – I read them. Sometimes I’m shocked, sometimes I laugh.”
The comedian said the accusations were part of a wider pattern of people attempting to create narratives about his life.
