LONDON, UK- Chelsea F.C.’s struggles deepened after another heavy defeat extended their worrying losing streak in the Premier League.

Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. cruised to a dominant 3-0 victory over Chelsea, handing the Blues their fifth consecutive league loss—remarkably without scoring a single goal.

The latest setback piles pressure on manager Liam Rosenior, whose side has now endured one of its worst runs in modern history, with reports indicating the club has not gone five league games without scoring since 1912.

Attack misfiring

Chelsea’s problems have been stark in front of goal.

Against Brighton, they failed to register a single shot on target despite limited attacking attempts, underlining a growing lack of cutting edge in the final third.

The goal drought stretches back several matches, including defeats to Manchester United F.C. and Manchester City F.C., where Chelsea also failed to find the net.

Season slipping away

What began as a push for European qualification is now turning into a fight to salvage pride.

Chelsea remain outside the top spots, with their Champions League hopes fading fast amid the poor run of results.

Despite heavy investment and squad changes in recent seasons, the team has struggled for cohesion, with fans increasingly voicing frustration over performances and direction.

Rosenior has insisted he still has the backing of the club’s ownership, but the current form has raised serious questions about Chelsea’s trajectory heading into the final stretch of the season.

For a club of Chelsea’s stature, the immediate task is clear, stop the slide, rediscover their attacking identity, and restore confidence before the season slips further out of reach.
