Music star Bien-Aimé Baraza has celebrated basketball star Madina Okot after watching her play for the Atlanta Dream during his ongoing stay in the United States.
Bien attended the game with his wife, Chiki Kuruka, and shared a video capturing moments from the outing on Instagram.
The singer used the post to praise Okot, whom he described as a “GOAT” while expressing his excitement at finally seeing the history-making Kenyan basketball player in action.
“Had the chance to experience the GOAT @okotmadina do her thing. She totally dominated the court,” Bien wrote.
The former Sauti Sol frontman also revealed that Okot gave him an autographed Atlanta Dream jersey, an experience that left him particularly excited.
“Got my autographed jersey 😭😭😭😭😭,” he added.
Bien then declared himself a new supporter of the Atlanta-based WNBA franchise.
“I’m now officially an @atlantadream mega fan,” he wrote before ending his message with a message of encouragement to Okot: “May the road rise to meet you Sis.”
Okot played college basketball at Zetech University in Kenya before moving to the United States, where she played for Mississippi State and later South Carolina. Basketball-Reference lists her as a 2026 first-round selection by Atlanta at No. 13 overall.
Her transition to the professional game has made her one of the most prominent Kenyan athletes competing in the United States.
For Bien, watching Okot play has become one of several sporting and cultural experiences during his current US visit. The singer has spent recent weeks moving through different American entertainment spaces as he continues his international music push.
He performed at Afro+ Fest 2026 in Maryland on September 5. The three-day festival, held at Northwest Stadium over the Labor Day weekend, featured some of the biggest names in African and international music, including Davido, Wizkid, Tems, Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr and Lil Baby. Bien appeared on the September 5 programme.
Bien has also been documenting other experiences from his American trip on social media, including his first live baseball game and appearances at high-profile events.
