Eric Omondi Intervenes, Takes Georgina Njenga to Chiromo Hospital

Comedian and activist Eric Omondi has taken content creator Georgina Njenga to Chiromo Hospital Group in Nairobi after a series of worrying social media posts triggered concern over her wellbeing.

Omondi located the mother of one on Friday, October 2, 2026, a day after he publicly appealed to Kenyans to help him establish contact with her.

He subsequently accompanied Georgina and a group of friends to Chiromo, where she was admitted for professional mental health care.

In a video shared online, Omondi said his immediate priority was to ensure Georgina received professional support rather than leave her to deal with the situation alone.

“Hey guys, huyu hatutampoteza. Her daughter needs her, and she is NOT okay at all. We will take her to Chiromo because they have the best Mental health Services,” Omondi said.

The intervention followed several days of growing concern surrounding Georgina, particularly after she posted a series of emotional messages on Instagram. On September 29, Georgina shared a message that appeared to reference death and her desire to be with God.

“I told you guys I’m dying this year and you’re refusing to let me be with God,” she wrote.

The post prompted concern among some of her followers, with fellow content creators also questioning whether she was safe.

Omondi joined the growing calls for people close to Georgina to check on her after becoming concerned about her situation.

On October 1, he issued a public appeal asking anyone who knew her whereabouts to contact him.

“We watched Stoopid Boy deteriorate before our eyes. We will not lose another person. I am trying to reach Georgina; she has a daughter who needs her more than anything,” Omondi said.

The comedian eventually found her and moved quickly to secure professional assistance.

Posts showed Georgina arriving at Chiromo with Omondi and friends before completing the admission process.

Omondi later confirmed that Georgina had been admitted and said she would need an extended stay.

“Georgina is finally at Chiromo. She needs to be here for at least three months,” he said.

He also appealed to Kenyans of goodwill to help meet the costs associated with her care.

The intervention followed an earlier incident that had also generated public concern.

In September, a video circulated online showing Georgina spending an extended period outside a mall, prompting widespread discussion about her wellbeing.

The footage led to different reactions online, with some people expressing concern while others speculated about what she could have been experiencing.

Georgina subsequently pushed back against the public discussion and asked people to stop drawing conclusions about her circumstances.

“Leave me alone fr there are some spiritual battles you’ll never understand in this world,” she said on September 3.

In July, she reflected on starting over and described the changes she had made in her life, including forming new friendships and dealing with what she called character assassination.

“One year ago, believe me, starting over is the best decision I made: change, write new friendships, and meet new people… character assassination hurts, but don’t forget the one God knows,” she said.

She also discussed her faith and said she had maintained a relationship with God despite rarely discussing it publicly.

“I always had a relationship with him but barely publicly shared because I hated that religion has standards they also struggle to meet,” Georgina said.
