NAIROBI, Kenya – Comedian and activist Eric Omondi has given a fresh update on content creator Georgina Njenga after her admission to Chiromo Hospital in Nairobi, revealing that the facility has offered to treat her for free.
Omondi shared the update on Monday, October 5, 2026, while visiting the facility where Georgina is receiving professional mental health care. He also gave his followers a look around the hospital, highlighting the environment where the content creator has begun her recovery.
The latest development comes days after Omondi confirmed that Georgina had been admitted to Chiromo Hospital following growing concern over her wellbeing.
In his latest video, Omondi expressed gratitude to the hospital’s management for stepping in to support Georgina during what he described as an important period in her life.
He revealed that the hospital had agreed to waive the cost of her treatment, meaning Georgina can continue with the care she needs without the financial burden that had initially surrounded her admission.
Omondi specifically acknowledged Chiromo Hospital CEO Dr Hongo and Professor Frank Njenga for the support extended to Georgina.
The comedian also showed parts of the facility to his followers as he explained that Georgina was receiving care in a professional environment.
The gesture comes after Omondi had appealed to Kenyans of goodwill to help raise funds for Georgina’s treatment. Following her admission, he had said she would need to remain at the facility for an extended period as she undergoes a structured recovery programme.
Georgina is expected to spend about 90 days at the facility as part of her mental health recovery.
Omondi has remained closely involved in the process since he first raised concern about Georgina’s wellbeing. He previously accompanied her to Chiromo Hospital after efforts to locate her following a series of worrying social media posts.
After her admission, Omondi visited her at the facility and shared an update with his followers. He said the early days of the recovery journey would be difficult but urged the public to keep Georgina in their prayers.
During one of his earlier updates, Omondi said, “We lost Stoopid Boy, we saw his struggles. We are not going to lose Georgina.”
Omondi described Georgina’s recovery as a 90-day journey and encouraged her to remain consistent with her treatment.
The comedian has also urged Kenyans to avoid turning Georgina’s situation into a source of online speculation, instead asking people to support her recovery and give her space to heal.
Omondi’s latest update also sought to reassure Georgina’s fans that she is receiving care in a facility equipped to handle her needs.
