NAIROBI, Kenya — A youthful Kenyan man bearing a striking resemblance to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has become an unlikely sensation on social media, with Kenyans drawing attention to his facial features, smile and distinctive style.
The man’s resemblance to Gachagua has particularly caught the attention of social media users, who say his facial appearance and dental features closely mirror those of the former Deputy President.
His choice of dressing has further amplified the similarity.
In a video circulating online, the man is seen wearing a cowboy hat similar to those frequently associated with Gachagua during some of his public appearances.
“Look at this man, he looks like Gachagua. He even smiles like him,” a man is heard saying in the video as other people react to the apparent resemblance.
The video has since generated reactions online, with some users joking about the uncanny similarity between the two men.
