Singer Nadia Mukami has offered one of her most candid reflections yet on her relationship with fellow musician Arrow Bwoy, revealing that her desire to build a family motivated her to fight for their love even during difficult moments.
Speaking during an interview with Alex Mwakideu on AM TV, the award-winning singer became visibly emotional as she looked back on their journey together. At one point, she paused while trying to explain why she invested so much in making the relationship work.
“To be honest, even when it comes to Baba Kai, I really tried because I really wanted family,” Nadia said.
She continued by explaining that the dream of having a stable family had always been important to her.
“I always wanted family, but my… this is so embarrassing,” she said before trailing off as emotions overwhelmed her.
Mwakideu comforted the singer, reassuring her that it was okay to express her feelings before asking whether she still loved Arrow Bwoy.
