Kenyan content creator and entrepreneur Shorn Arwa has offered a candid glimpse into her personal life, revealing that staying single has brought her a level of peace she never expected.
The digital creator recently went viral after responding to compliments about how happy and relaxed she looks.
Rather than crediting a new skincare routine or lifestyle change, Arwa pointed to one major reason behind her glow—she is no longer in a relationship.
“You look happy. You look so stress-free. What’s the secret?” she was asked.
Without hesitation, Arwa replied:
“I don’t have a man stressing me. I don’t have a man stressing me. I could get up and go, I could text whoever I text, and I don’t have… I don’t have a source of stress. Thank you.”
For Arwa, remaining single is not about bitterness toward relationships but about protecting the peace she has found after experiencing personal changes in recent years.
She explained that she now has the freedom to move around as she pleases, communicate with whoever she wants and focus on her own priorities without feeling accountable to a partner.
Rather than describing herself as lonely, Arwa painted a picture of someone content with her independence.
Arwa’s latest comments come months after she publicly addressed the end of her marriage to her Nigerian husband.
The influencer previously shared that the relationship had run its course as both of them grew in different directions.
While opening up about the separation, she explained that personal development had changed her outlook on life and what she wanted for her future.
Despite ending the marriage, Arwa maintained that they remain committed to co-parenting their son and ensuring he grows up in a healthy environment.
Since then, she has largely shifted her attention to expanding her brand, creating digital content and documenting her experiences as a mother and entrepreneur.
Over the years, Arwa has spoken openly about the lessons she has taken from previous relationships. She has admitted that some experiences left her emotionally exhausted and reshaped how she views dating.
