Nairobi, Kenya- Allison+Partners has opened applications for the fifth edition of The Future is Female Mentorship Program, a unique initiative exclusively supporting African female tech founders.

This year marks a special milestone with Salesforce Ventures Impact Fund joining the program as a partner.

Launched on Africa Day in 2020, the program has seen a staggering 253pc increase in applications.

Claudine Moore, Managing Director, Africa at Allison+Partners, expressed her excitement, stating, “This milestone highlights our commitment to empowering underserved African women in tech.”

The program has consistently received support from notable partners such as TechCabal, Africa Communications Week, and F6S, the world’s largest startup database.

This year, Salesforce Ventures Impact Fund has joined these longtime sponsors, enhancing the program’s capacity to support and invest in African female tech founders.

The Future is Female Mentorship Program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip female founders with essential PR and communications skills.

Participants gain insights into creating a communications plan, business storytelling, digital marketing, media relations, and personal branding.

Lauryn Poyser, Investor at Salesforce Ventures Impact Fund, highlighted the program’s significance, saying, “We’re excited to participate in a program that is dedicated to equipping female founders, particularly in Africa, with tools to build their businesses for long-term resilience.”

The program aims to foster a more inclusive and equitable tech ecosystem by enabling more women to participate and thrive in the rapidly growing tech sector.

Previous partners, including Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders Africa Program, have collaborated to enhance the program’s reach and impact.

Applications for this complimentary initiative close on Wednesday, July 31st, with successful applicants announced on Monday, August 19, 2024.
