Businessman Kennedy Rapudo kept it classy when defending his partner, Amber Ray, against the latest wave of online criticism over her nightlife career and bold fashion choices.
In a candid sit-down with Alex Mwakideu, Rapudo brushed off the backlash with confidence, making it clear he has no intention of “changing” Amber.
According to him, she built her brand, her name, and her success long before he came into the picture, and that’s exactly how he intends to keep it.
He didn’t hold back either, calling out critics for being quick to judge while having little understanding of what club hosting actually entails.
He described the gig as a legitimate and demanding profession, noting that it involves constant public engagement, brand visibility, and high-energy appearances.
More importantly, he emphasized that Amber is among the top earners in the space, commanding significant pay for just a few hours of work.
Rapudo also addressed speculation about his role in her life, clarifying that while he supports her financially, including covering major household expenses, he does not control her career decisions.
The businessman called out the glaring hypocrisy, questioning why global stars are applauded for pushing fashion boundaries while Amber Ray is dragged for doing the exact same thing.

His remarks come weeks after Amber Ray’s March 2026 club appearance sparked heated debate online, with some critics labeling her outfit “too revealing.”
The controversy surfaced not long after the couple marked their fourth anniversary with a lavish getaway.
Rapudo maintains that Amber Ray has a choice of dressing however she wants, and she is not in her life to change her.
