Pop superstar Ariana Grande has announced that she will take an extended break from public life after completing her Eternal Sunshine Tour, citing years of relentless public scrutiny surrounding her health and physical appearance.
The Grammy-winning singer’s representative confirmed the decision to People magazine, revealing that Grande will “take a step back from visibility” once she wraps up the final leg of her world tour on September 1, 2026.

According to her representative, Grande remains fully committed to completing the remaining dates of the tour before taking time away from the spotlight.

The production is scheduled to open at London’s Barbican Centre during the summer of 2027, but producers will now move forward without Grande, with a replacement expected to be announced at a later date.
