Kenyan rapper Stivo Simple Boy and his partner Brenda have finally revealed the face of their son, Dragon Junior, ending months of speculation and anticipation surrounding the child.
The couple unveiled their son to the public on Saturday, September 5, 2026, during an event at Alfajiri Meadow, where fans gathered to witness the long-awaited moment. The reveal came nearly 10 months after the couple welcomed their first child together.
The much-anticipated unveiling marked a major shift for Stivo and Brenda, who had deliberately kept their son’s face away from the public since his birth.
Stivo and Brenda later shared a photograph showing the family together, giving fans their first clear public look at Dragon Junior.
The couple captioned the post, “We’re beautiful people,” a message that reflected the theme Stivo had attached to the face reveal.
The rapper had previously explained that the event was not simply about showing his son’s face. Instead, he wanted to use the occasion to promote self-acceptance, diversity and appreciation of different appearances.
In an earlier announcement, Stivo said: “Nimekaa kimya sana ni wakati wa kujivunia mwonekano wetu, kila mtu ako biuri kivyake.” He added that he would lead by example by publicly showing his son’s face during the September event.
Stivo and Brenda welcomed Dragon Junior in November 2025.
Brenda went into labour on Saturday, November 1, with Stivo sharing updates as he accompanied her to hospital. The rapper later announced that she had successfully delivered their baby boy.
“Dragon Junior ashafika. Tutakuwa tunatema moto na huyu sasa. Brenda was really strong, may God bless her for this gift,” Stivo announced after the birth.
The arrival marked Stivo’s first experience of fatherhood and generated significant interest among his followers.
Before announcing the September event, Stivo caused a stir when he placed a Sh5 million price tag on the opportunity to see his son’s face.
In June 2026, the musician shared a photograph of himself and Brenda holding their baby, although the child’s face remained hidden.
He wrote: “Imethibitishwa rasmi! Ili Wakenya waweze kuuona uso wa mtoto wetu, itawagharimu Sh milioni 5.”
The statement immediately sparked reactions online, with many Kenyans questioning the unusually high amount.
Stivo later changed the approach. He announced a public event that combined the face reveal with his Beautiful People Experience.
The rapper explained that attendees would pay an entry fee because the occasion involved broader event costs.
“On September 5, we are doing two things: a face reveal and the Beautiful People Experience. So, if you’re coming, pay a small fee,” Stivo said in an interview.
The eventual event attracted fans who wanted to witness the moment in person.
The regular entry cost Sh500 while VIP access cost Sh1,000. This was significantly different from the Sh5 million figure Stivo had mentioned months earlier.
The Beautiful People Experience also carried an inclusive message. Stivo had promoted the event as a celebration that would embrace people with different physical appearances, disabilities, autism, albinism and various talents.
The face reveal also marked the beginning of a new chapter for Dragon Junior, who reportedly secured his first brand ambassador deal with a phone-selling company around the time of the event.
