‘Rais Wangu’: Chivayo Reveals Ruto Personally Drove Him to His Helicopter After Charlene’s Engagement

Date:

NAIROBI, Kenya- Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo has recounted what he described as an unforgettable moment during his recent visit to Kenya, claiming that President William Ruto personally drove him to a helipad after attending the engagement celebration of the President’s daughter.

In a post shared after the event, Chivayo said he initially believed the engagement celebration had marked the highlight of his visit before receiving what he described as a surprise from President Ruto.

“As I was leaving I then realised God had reserved one more and final unforgettable moment for me,” Chivayo said.

According to Chivayo, Ruto offered to drive him for about three kilometres to the helipad where he had left his helicopter.

He said he sat in the front passenger seat while his wife sat at the back, with Ruto behind the wheel.

“Imagine me sitting in the front passenger seat with my wife at the back while the President of the Republic of Kenya, the Head of State himself, was behind the steering wheel personally driving me to the chopper,” Chivayo wrote.
