British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo has died at the age of 43 after a penile enlargement procedure in Thailand caused a fatal pulmonary embolism, according to findings from a UK coroner’s inquest.
Ubiribo died in Bangkok on March 6, 2026, after undergoing the cosmetic procedure the previous day while holidaying in Thailand with his wife, fashion designer and socialite Danielle Simba Allen.
Details surrounding his death emerged months later during an inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court, where the coroner concluded that the cosmetic procedure caused the fatal embolism.
Evidence presented at the inquest showed that Ubiribo visited an unnamed clinic in Bangkok on March 5 for a cosmetic genital enlargement procedure.
Medical evidence indicated that doctors injected approximately 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid mixed with lidocaine into his penis.
Hyaluronic acid is commonly used as a cosmetic filler, while lidocaine acts as a local anaesthetic. In Ubiribo’s case, however, the material later entered his circulation and travelled to his lungs, according to the findings presented at the inquest.
The procedure reportedly did not involve conventional surgery. Instead, it used injectable filler to increase the size or girth of the penis.
After leaving the clinic, Ubiribo and his wife went for a massage. It was during the massage that he began experiencing serious symptoms. He complained of chest pain before losing consciousness twice.
An ambulance subsequently transported him to Sukhumvit Hospital in Bangkok, where doctors assessed his condition. Allen informed medical staff that her husband had undergone the penile filler procedure earlier that day.
Doctors suspected that Ubiribo had suffered a pulmonary embolism and recommended further medical investigations. His condition, however, deteriorated rapidly. He lost consciousness before doctors could complete the recommended CT scan.
Medical staff transferred him to intensive care and attempted to revive him. According to reports from the inquest, doctors performed CPR for more than 100 minutes, but they could not save him.
Ubiribo died in the early hours of March 6.
A subsequent post-mortem examination in the UK provided further evidence about what happened. Pathologist John du Parcq told the inquest that cellular material found in Ubiribo’s lungs was consistent with the hyaluronic acid used during the procedure.
The findings supported the conclusion that the filler had entered his bloodstream and travelled to the pulmonary circulation, causing the fatal blockage.
Coroner Jean Harkin ultimately ruled that Ubiribo died from a pulmonary embolism caused by the cosmetic filler procedure.
Ubiribo was known online by several names, including “Tiny,” “Denisi” and “Ego.” He built a substantial social media following by documenting his travels, luxury lifestyle and personal experiences.
He had more than 185,000 Instagram followers, where he regularly shared photographs and videos reflecting his affluent lifestyle.
Reports also identified him as a businessman with properties in London and Los Angeles. His social media presence frequently featured luxury travel, fashion and moments with his wife.
Ubiribo and Allen married in Zimbabwe in 2022 and often shared glimpses of their relationship online.
