Content creator and entrepreneur Sharon K Mwangi has announced that she is closing her fashion brand, Epiphany Clothing, bringing to an end a five-year journey that saw the label become a favourite among women seeking elegant and modest fashion.

Sharon broke the news through an emotional video shared on social media, where she thanked customers, collaborators and supporters who helped grow the brand since its launch in 2021. While acknowledging that the decision was difficult, she revealed that Epiphany will officially close in the coming weeks, with the business holding a final clearance sale before shutting its doors.

“After almost five years of Epiphany, I am sad to announce that this chapter of Epiphany is coming to an end. We’re going to be closing this business in the next couple of weeks,” she said.

The entrepreneur did not disclose the reasons behind the closure, instead choosing to focus on gratitude for the community that supported the brand from its earliest days.

“Thank you for all of the support you have shown us in the last five years. Thank you for allowing us to come into your lives and share special moments with you. We have walked this journey with you, and we have adorned you on your bridal showers, on your baby showers, on special events,” she said.

She added that many customers celebrated personal milestones while wearing Epiphany pieces, from engagements and birthday photoshoots to everyday moments.

“It has been an absolute amazing journey just sharing this with you, sharing a passion and a love that I have for fashion, and just being able to pour that out from ideas in my mind to actual clothing,” she said.

Although the announcement marks the end of the business for now, Sharon left the door open for a possible return in the future.

“I do not know if this is goodbye forever, but it’s definitely goodbye for now,” she concluded.

Alongside the video, Sharon shared a heartfelt Instagram caption describing the closure as one of the hardest decisions she has had to make.

“This decision has been incredibly difficult to make and accept but it’s time for us to say goodbye for now,” she wrote.

She went on to thank every customer who purchased from the brand, interacted with its content or recommended it to others, crediting them for making Epiphany what it became over the last five years.

According to Sharon, Epiphany fulfilled thousands of customer orders during its run, serving women across Kenya and beyond. She also acknowledged the people who worked behind the scenes, including her team, models and support system, saying the business would not have reached its milestones without their dedication.

Sharon also expressed gratitude for what she described as God’s faithfulness throughout the business journey.

She wrote that she remains confident about what lies ahead, saying she continues to trust God with the next chapter of her career just as she did when launching Epiphany.

As part of the closure process, the entrepreneur announced an end-of-business sale, giving customers one final opportunity to purchase pieces from the brand before operations cease. She encouraged followers to visit Epiphany’s website through the link in the brand’s Instagram bio while stock lasts.

Founded in 2021, Epiphany Clothing built a loyal online following through curated collections that blended modest, feminine and contemporary fashion. The brand became popular among young professional women looking for versatile outfits for work, special occasions and everyday wear.

The announcement has sparked an outpouring of support from fans, customers and fellow entrepreneurs, many of whom shared messages celebrating the impact Epiphany had on Kenya’s fashion scene while wishing Sharon success in whatever comes next.
